HUNLOCK CREEK, Pa. — October is breast cancer awareness month, and in Luzerne County , this community is showing its support for Kristen Scali.

At the Pisano family winery pavilion near Nanticoke, many folks gathered to enjoy live music, raffles, shirts, and other vendors there for Scali, who was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer.

Alison Riviello, Kristen's Cousin, said, "We did not expect to have a turnout like this. I mean, we knew some people were coming, but to see all these people, I mean, it's incredible the support and the love that people are showing for her."

All proceeds from the benefit will go towards Scali's battle.
