BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) - Bettendorf Middle School staff and students took a colorful approach to making a difference and building community on Friday.

Officials said the second annual color run, themed “The Remix, Bigger and Brighter,” raises funds for the school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Program.

Officials said the run provides a positive, community-building experience for staff and students alike.

New this year for the event included color bottles, color captains and spirit building competitions, making the experience more engaging for students.
