The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) wants to revive commodity market and enhancing its liquidity, said Kamlesh Chandra Varshney , whole-time member (WTM). Brokers play an important role as mediators for farmers in commodity markets and in bringing new investors from tier 2 and tier 3 cities, the WTM noted.
