Virginia Tech fell 35-20 on the road to No. 13 Georgia Tech Saturday afternoon at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta. With the loss, the Hokies dropped to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in ACC play.

The Yellow Jackets set the tone early, scoring on their opening drive and converting a two-point attempt to take an 8-0 lead. They maintained control for the rest of the game, never trailing.

Quarterback Kyron Drones led the Hokies offensively, accounting for all three Virginia Tech touchdowns. He passed for 181 yards and two scores, while adding 94 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.
