Many people see Halloween as an 'American holiday' but actually, its roots go back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holiday of All Hallows Eve.

In more recent years, Halloween has become much more accepted and celebrated which is reflected by the number of events in the Plymouth community revolving around it in 2025.

Halloween will take place on Friday, October 31 and a variety of different celebrations are planned on the day which will see entertainment available for the entire family. There are other days around this date that will feature Halloween events, such as Crealy Park's Spook-Fest.
