For the second time in three games, a controversial call is one of the major talking points after an Auburn loss.

The Tigers lost 20-10 to Georgia, and while one play didn’t cause the loss, Auburn’s fumble at the goal line right before halftime was a game-changing play.

Auburn was leading 10-0 and was half of a yard away from going up 17-0, but Jackson Arnold lost the ball as he leaped over the pile on a quarterback sneak. On some angles, it looked like Arnold crossed the goal line before the ball came out, but the officials called the play a fumble on the field.

After a review that lasted almost 10 minutes, the call was upheld, much to the chagrin of Hugh Freeze and the Auburn sideline.
