As England's second biggest city with some of the worst rates of poverty and deprivation, it's no secret that Birmingham suffers with high levels of crime.

Shootings, stabbings and robberies can be a fairly common occurrence as police face a battle to keep the streets safe and put residents at ease.

But there are some parts of Birmingham which are touched by crime less often, and where residents tend to get by without many problems, with the issues experienced elsewhere not troubling their doorsteps.
