TUCSON, Ariz. - (KVOA) Three people are dead and three others are injured after two-vehicle crash Saturday night near Drexel Heights.

Authorities tell News 4 Tucson the crash happened on Old Ajo Way and Ajo Hwy. Drexel Heights Fire crews and the Arizona Department of Public Safety responded to the scene.

According to DPS, two female passengers in a ride share were killed. A teenager in the other vehicle was also killed.

The three survivors were taken to a trauma center in Tucson.

The eastbound lanes of Ajo Hwy. are currently closed.
