Iam a very proud graduate of Mayfield High School (class of 1981). The Green and Gold family stretches back multiple generations, and like thousands of other MHS graduates and families, I am very happy to see millions of dollars earmarked for the renovation of our great school on Las Cruces Public Schools’ (LCPS) 2025 bond issue.

What I remember in particular about my three glorious years at MHS is a reflection of joy and gratitude. I cherished the inspiring teachers who guided me, the great moments of playing basketball with my teammates as a Mayfield Trojan, and the strong friendships that were built along the way. My experience at Mayfield High School shaped my character, prepared me for college, and left me with long lasting memories and a true sense of pride to be a Mayfield Trojan!
