LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - It’s another typical October day here in the commonwealth, feeling like fall across the state.

We have had a foggy and chilly start to our morning, making it a truly spooky start. You will need a heavier jacket as you head out the door, thanks to the temps starting in the 40s. The afternoon will have our temperatures climbing into the 70s.

A system making its way up the East Coast will push some clouds into areas east of I-75, but things will stay mainly dry. There is a pinpoint possibility this evening for areas along the Virginia border. Central Kentucky will stay full of sunshine.

This week feels like October with more dry weather and plenty of sunshine for our skies - no real rain chances reach us until next weekend.

Have a great Sunday!
