Himachal CM Sukhu welcomes Sonia Gandhi in Shimla ahead of Virbhadra Singh statue unveiling

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), October 12, 2025 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday welcomed Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson and senior leader Sonia Gandhi upon her arrival in Shimla.

On Saturday, CM Sukhu said that Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are likely to participate in the grand unveiling ceremony of the statue of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh at the historic Ridge Maidan in Shimla on October 13.
