WAKEFIELD, Mass. —
Two 18-year-old men suffered injuries, one seriously, after they were stabbed in Wakefield early Sunday morning.
According to police, the men were traveling in a gray Chevrolet Trax Sunday at approximately 1 a.m., near an intersection in Stoneham, when the suspect, wearing a dark hoodie and mask, approached them with a knife.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, continued to drive, crossing into Wakefield before coming to a stop.
The driver suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger, also 18, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Both men were taken to nearby hospitals.
Stoneham police say there is no danger to the public.
Stoneham police and state troopers are investigating.
