A Georgetown woman is in trouble with the law for an alleged road rage incident that happened Friday morning.

State Police say 20-year-old Melleca Butler pulled her SUV alongside a vehicle driven by a 49-year-old Houston man on DuPont Boulevard and Shortly Road around 11:30 a.m. and brandished a handgun before speeding away.

The victim described Butler to police, and troopers and Millsboro officers pulled her over at Laurel Road and DuPont Boulevard in Millsboro.

A search of Butler's SUV turned up an unloaded handgun between the driver's seat and the center console, and a computer check revealed that Butler doesn't have a concealed carry permit.
