A motorist died of his injuries after two vehicles collided at a Camden County intersection on Saturday night.

An SUV and a car collided at Berlin Cross Keys Road and Johnson Road in the Sicklerville section of Gloucester Township shortly after 10 p.m., according to township police.

The two occupants in the SUV and the car’s driver suffered serious injuries and were trapped in their vehicles when emergency responders arrived, police said.

All three were freed and taken to a nearby hospital, where the SUV driver later died of his injuries, police said.

His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin, police said.

No charges had been filed as of Sunday morning.

The intersection was closed for several hours as police investigated the crash.
