There was not much to like about Michigan State’s uncompetitive loss to UCLA on Saturday at Spartan Stadium.

Despite starting well on their opening drives on both offense and defense, the rest of the matchup for MSU (3-3, 0-3 Big Ten) was filled with mistakes and they dropped their third straight game after a 3-0 start.

With 253 total yards of offense, allowing 418 yards to UCLA, the Spartans’ poor showing also made its way to their Pro Football Focus grades this week.

MSU posted a 58.0 overall offensive grade, the lowest of the season and third straight week their offensive grade has decreased since a season-high 80.8 against FCS Youngstown State.

The biggest issue came in the passing game for the second straight week as quarterback Aidan Chiles and Alessio Milivojevic underwhelme
