Many Manitobans will spend the long weekend celebrating Thanksgiving on Monday, Oct. 13, with several stores, services, and public facilities adjusting their hours or closing for the day.

Most grocery and liquor stores will remain open with reduced hours. Residents are encouraged to check with local locations before heading out for any last-minute dinner items or beverages.

The Children’s Museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the Manitoba Museum, and the Winnipeg Art Gallery–Qaumajuq will all be closed.
