WAHIAWA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police, fire, and EMS responded to a fatal crash on Kamehameha Highway, Sunday morning.

Around 3 a.m., Emergency Medical Services pronounced a motorcyclist dead on the Karsten Thot Bridge. He was believed to be in his 40s.

Investigators are still looking into what happened, and drivers are being asked to avoid the area while crews continue to work.

This marks the 66th traffic fatality on Oahu this year.
