The Federal Bureau of Investigation has confirmed the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office arrest of a Tecumseh teen in connection with credible terroristic threats towards an unknown school on October 11, 2025.

The FBI was first contacted by the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office Saturday according to officials. After a search and research phase of the suspected teen, investigators determined the threat to be credible.

Authorities then identified and determined that a male teen, who was enrolled at Tecumseh Public Schools, was the source of the violent threats.

After investigators executed a search warrant into the teen's home, they found evidence supporting the reported threat was located.
