QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A man accused of chopping off a dog owner's fingers with a machete has been arrested for killing a woman in a hit-and-run in Queens last year, police said Sunday.
Timothy Bohler, 31, was riding a motorcycle when he allegedly hit and killed Lelawattie Narine, 52, near 114th Street and Liberty Avenue at 8:35 p.m. on March 22, 2024, according to the NYPD.
Narine was found lying on the street with a severe head injury and taken to the hospital in critical condition, cops said. She died on April 9, 2024.
Bohler fell off the 2023 Jiajue motorcycle after the collision before getting up and running off, police said. The suspect did not have a license, and the bike was not registered, authorities alleged.
