Santa Fe police are investigating the death of a 49-year-old Santa Fe man at a south-side hotel.

Officers were dispatched to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on Cerrillos Road around 9 a.m. Saturday, where they found the man's body, Deputy Chief Ben Valdez announced Sunday in a news release.

"Officers observed him to have no signs of life," Valdez wrote.

Police have not released the man's name because his family has not yet been notified, Capt. Amanda Montano said in an interview.

The case remains under investigation. Valdez asked anyone with information related to the matter to contact Detective Anthony Sweeny at 505-955-5401.
