LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Funeral arrangements have been announced for Maumelle Police Officer Christopher M. Stroud , of Mayflower, who lost his battle with cancer on Saturday.

Maumelle police officials said that the community is invited to join the department and Stroud's family to honor his life and service.

According to officials, A public viewing will be held on October 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Mayflower in Mayflower, Arkansas.

A funeral service open to the public will follow.

Stroud served 26 years with the Maumelle Police Department, starting his career on March 29, 1999, as a Jailer/Dispatcher before becoming a certified police officer.
