JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Fire Department was dispatched on Sunday, Oct. 12, to a report of a power pole sparking.

The department was dispatched at 7:06 a.m. to 319 11th Ave. NE, according to the JFD incident report.

Two units and 17 firefighters responded and stood by at the scene until Otter Tail Power Co. arrived. They also provided traffic control and cleared the scene at 8:20 a.m.
