EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - After 6 days of fun, and a final half-pot total of over two and a half million dollars, it’s time to clean up the mess.
Officials say that when all was said and done, many booths reported record sales, and those record amounts will be going to various organizations in the Tri-State.
Now those booths are gone, hooked up to trailers with street sweepers taking their place.
Stan Hart, a vendor for St. Matthew’s Church, has helped move their trailer for over 20 years.
“It comes and goes, it’s a little tough sometimes depending on the number of people and that kind of thing, but most of the time it’s smooth,” Hart stated.
