MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - As we wrap up our Sunday afternoon here in southern Wisconsin, you might notice those low clouds that have been hanging around beginning to scatter and diminish. This afternoon, drier air is taking hold, so we should see an improvement in our skies. However, our weather story for tonight and early Monday morning includes a chance of some very light rain. An area of low pressure, originating far to our north, is slowly making its way towards us from the Northern Plains. This system will bring a band of light rain that we can expect to track across our region, generally from west to east, in the early morning hours on Monday. It won’t be a washout, but it’s enough
