NILES, Ohio (WKBN) -- People gathered Sunday at a greenhouse in Niles for a fall market fundraiser.
The Niles Historical Society hosted the event at the Ward-Thomas Estate and Greenhouse. They invited 45 vendors to sell anything from handmade crafts to specialty snacks.
The fundraiser benefited the historical society as well as All About the Paws Rescue.
"A lot of effort goes into all this. It's a lot of coordinating, organizing and prepping, all good stuff. But I think if they come out today, they're going to find a good family-fun activity and a lot to do and a lot of great vendors to shop with," said event coordinator Laura Altobeloi.
The fall market was a long-standing tradition at the greenhouse until about seven years ago. But now that it's back, they plan on doing one every summ
