TECUMSEH, Okla. (KFOR) - The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office says they were contacted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) regarding a credible threat made toward an unknown school within Pottawatomie County.

Through investigation, a juvenile male, currently a student at Tecumseh Public Schools, was identified as the suspect.

The sheriff's office says during an interview, the juvenile admitted to planning to “shoot up” his school and cause harm to others.

The juvenile was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

• Terroristic Threats

• Threatening Acts of Violence

• Violation of the Computer Crimes Act

• Obscene Materials

Due to the suspect’s age, no further identifying information will be released at this time.
