ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - 1 person is injured after a shooting outside of a bar Saturday night.

Two men began fighting inside of the bar before being told to leave by the bar employees, according to Rock Island Police.

While outside, police said a gun was fired and a 30-year-old man was hit.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound, police said.

The man is not believed to have been the intended target of the shots fired, according to police.
