REDDING, Calif. - The Big Bike Weekend has returned to the Civic Auditorium and Rodeo Grounds in Redding, bringing excitement and community spirit.

This year's event is supporting a worthy cause—the Redding Police Department's K9 Program.

Proceeds from the weekend will benefit Communities for Police Canines, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding the purchase, training, and veterinary care for the Redding Police's K9 unit, including retired K9s.

One of the highlights of the weekend is the Sundial Throwdown, a timed motorcycle competition taking place tomorrow. Officers from across the Western United States are participating in this competitive event.
