LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - New details have been released on the suspects accused of killing a 62-year-old LYFT driver and stealing her car.

On Friday, Oct. 10 , the body of Lawanna J. Lewis of Lake Charles was found by a truck driver in a ditch in Westlake.

Two suspects, Tristan Bush and Ethan Bush, are believed to be behind the murder.

On Sunday, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office released arrest records that revealed Tristan Bush had a history with the law.

In 2022, Tristan was arrested in Kenner for entry or remaining after forbidden and resisting an officer, according to CPSO.

Then in 2023, CPSO reports Tristan was arrested in Lafayette for resisting an officer with force or violence, along a warrant out of Allen Parish.
