LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - An organization in Louisville helped bring awareness to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities this weekend.

The Cedar Lake Foundation hosted its first-ever Cedar Lake Stroll on Saturday, Oct. 11, an event featuring an all-abilities walk and a fall festival.

Held at Cedar Lake Lodge, Saturday’s event aimed to help support Cedar Lake’s mission of providing care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to ensure they get to experience a life filled with possibilities.

All paths in the walk were wheelchair-accessible around the Cedar Lake Lodge campus. Participants were encouraged to complete as many laps as they chose.
