TV host Lorraine Kelly has branded the cuts to her programme as "heartbreaking" as she spoke publicly for the first time about her show being reduced. ‌

The presenter also pledged to carry on with her self-titled show despite earlier rumours she was ready to quit. ‌

She said: "I don't see me going anywhere until people get fed up, you know? Until people say, I've had enough of that one." ‌

Discussing the cuts which see her programme slashed from an hour to 30 minutes and broadcasting for just 30 weeks out of 52, she revealed her initial concern was for her affected crew.
