DANVILLE — Children danced as Woody Wolfe strummed his guitar and sang during Saturday's fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation hosted by the East End Fire Company's Lady Auxiliary.

The event was requested as a way to raise money for the nonprofit organization by auxiliary member Kathy Gold on behalf of her 6-year-old grandson who has complex medical issues and is receiving a wish bestowed by Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Susquehanna and West Virginia. In return, Gold said, her grandson was eager to provide another Montour County child the opportunity to have a wish granted by the foundation.
