ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) — Sunday was the last day of the annual Eldridge Park Harvest Weekend. Organizers said they had a great turnout throughout the three-day event.
With a band on Friday night, a craft show on Saturday, and the carousel and mini-golf open throughout the weekend, organizers said there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Attractions at the park closed at the beginning of September, but some were reopened for the special weekend. Organizers said it was a great way to officially send off the summer season.
"It's great to get that one last weekend in. It's great to see all of the community come out and support us and to hear the stories from the older generation that come out, I just love that," said Trisha Elwood, the general manager of the Eldridge Park Preservation Soci
