OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A cold front is on the way in Sunday evening and will bring a noticeable drop in temperatures for the start of the work week!

Along with a cool down it will come with a shift in the winds and a gusty N wind picks back up in the Metro around 8PM behind the front... gradually lightening up through the day Monday.

This front also sparks a slight shower chance along it Sunday evening... these will be light.

Behind the front on Monday a lingering morning shower can’t be ruled out but better chances return after 3PM and continue through Monday night into Tuesday. Rain is likely the most widespread and persistent during the first half of the day Tuesday.

Monday and Tuesday will be much cooler with many 60s... even a few 50s possible Tuesday!
