RAWLINS -- The Rawlins homecoming football game ended in defeat for the Outlaws as they fell to the Douglas Bearcats 47-0.

It has been since September 2024 that the Outlaws last won a football game.

The 0-7 Outlaws were outmatched against the fifth-ranked Bearcats, falling behind 33-0 before halftime brought them mercy. It was only due to a running clock that Douglas was held to two scores in the second half.

Rawlins opened the game with their best defensive stand of the night. They allowed Douglas just three plays before forcing a punt, the only one they forced all game. Coming off a tough 36-0 road loss last week, the Rawlins offense took the field in their first drive back at home.
