ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Fire Department is investigating a house fire that occurred on Central Park in Rochester early Sunday morning.
According to officials, firefighters were called at 5:21 a.m. for a report of a house fire at 370 Central Park. A few minutes later, at 5:24 a.m., the department responded to a working fire. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the home had "heavy hoarding conditions," which reportedly made it difficult to access the fire and complete a search.
A second alarm fire was declared for additional resources.
The fire reportedly extended from the home to a vehicle in the driveway. The flames were officially placed under control at 6:20 a.m.
No occupants were found in the home at the time of the fire; however, two dogs were safely rescued from t
