A theme in the San Francisco 49ers' 30-19 loss to Tampa Bay in Sunday's NFL action was injuries.

Starters Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Ricky Pearsall all missed the game with various injuries. Arguably the team's best player, linebacker Fred Warner, suffered a likely season-ending ankle injury in the first quarter.

It turns out that even the players still on the field by the final whistle on Sunday were playing through injuries as well.

Wide receiver Jauan Jennings told reporters after the loss that he's playing with five broken ribs as well as high and low ankle sprains.

Jennings was limited in practice leading up to Sunday's game in Tampa Bay and was questionable this morning. He was a game-time decision and started despite the numerous injuries.

He did not play in Week 5 in the 49ers' win over the Los Angeles Rams on "Thursday Night Football" as the team had a quick turnaround from Week 4.

Jennings wasn't much of a factor for the 49ers' offense against Tampa Bay. He had one catch for seven yards on three targets as veteran Kendrick Bourne led the team in receiving yards with 142 and running back Christian McCaffrey led the team in catches with seven.

San Francisco heads home for Week 7 with a "Sunday Night Football" tilt against the Atlanta Falcons.
