A drug peddler who claimed to have developed a heroin addiction after his marriage fell apart, despite previously earning £140,000 a year from a legitimate job, has been jailed. He was found with a mobile phone that implicated him in the distribution of heroin, crack cocaine and cocaine. ‌

Richard Skelly, 40, from Merthyr Tydfil, came under police scrutiny as part of an operation aimed at tackling drug trafficking . His phone number was associated with a line used for dealing class A drugs in July this year. ‌
