Kevin Gausman picks up his first two strikeouts of the night to end a 1-2-3 second inning. He froze Dominic Canzone on a fastball and got Victor Robles staring at a slider.

Both hitters were probably looking for Gausman’s splitter. He’s changing things up to be unpredictable, and the Jays will carry a 1-0 lead to the bottom of the second.
