Sacramento Kings wing Keegan Murray suffered a thumb injury against the Portland Trail Blazers in the Blazers’ 124-123 win Friday, according to Michael Scotto of Hoopshype:

Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament of the left thumb. Murray will undergo surgery and be re-evaluated in approximately 4-6 weeks, team says.

The Kings announced the news shortly thereafter.

Murray had 9 points and 5 boards and was a +11 in 16 minutes, all played in the first half. The injury may have occurred as he was fouled on a shot attempted by Shaedon Sharpe in the waning moments of the second quarter (Murray converted the and-one).
