SHEAKLEYVILLE, Pa. (WKBN) -- One person was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash in Sheakleyville on Saturday night.
It happened around 7:20 p.m. on Greenville Road. Sheakleyville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene of a vehicle that had left the roadway and struck several trees, ending up suspended in the air with possible entrapment reported.
Greenville Fire Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 1976 was called in to help with the extraction of the occupant.
The patient was then transported to a medical center and then taken to a trauma center by a medical helicopter.
