A 75-year-old man who went missing in 2011 in Paramount was found safe, authorities announced Sunday.

Jose Ruvalcaba Lopez had been last seen at noon on Dec. 30, 2011 in the 15000 block of Downey Avenue in Paramount, according to the original release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Details about how and where Lopez was located were not made available. It was undisclosed where he had been for the last nearly decade and a half.
