Flipkart goods worth over Rs 1.21 crore were stolen from a transport truck during the company's Big Billion Days sale, leading Punjab Police to register a case against the driver and his helper. The theft took place from a truck operated by Camion Logistics Solutions Pvt Ltd, a transport firm responsible for delivering Flipkart consignments.
According to the complaint filed by Pritam Sharma, a resident of Haryana and field operations executive with the company, the truck was loaded with 11,677 pieces of goods on September 27, from Bhiwandi, Mumbai, and was dispatched to the Flipkart warehouse in Mohanpur, Khanna. The vehicle was driven by Nasir, a resident of Kakrala village in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, accompanied by his helper Chet.
