Labor treasurer, Jim Chalmers, announced some surprise changes to the super tax rules on Monday morning. 'There are six main changes to the proposal that we put forward a couple of years ago', he said, including an increase to the low income superannuation tax offset, raising the eligibility threshold, and indexing the threshold up to $10m.
