NORMAL, Ill. (WMBD) - On Saturday, Central Illinois saw not one, but two state titles in high school boys golf. But other athletes shined in those tournaments as well.

Washington's Gavin Schreurs with a fourth place individual finish in 2A. He also helped lead them to a second-place team finish as well.

His time in a Panther uniform came to an end and he entered the weekend wanting to soak up every possible moment.

"I mean, obviously, knowing that this is the last high school tournament, it's sad, but it's humbling at the same time. So I just came out here trying to have fun. And I think as a team we did and I really tried to soak in the last couple moments as best as possible. It's been amazing. It's probably the best season in my life, just not only for my accomplishments, but I mean,
