Each week, KSAN Sports recognizes a collision made by a Concho Valley athlete. In week seven, the honor belongs to Eldorado Eagles linebacker Andrez Gomez.

Gomez, along with teammates Garrett Walling and Luther Herrera, combined for a collision on the Iraan Braves backfield. Gomez initiated the hit, while Walling and Herrera helped finish the play by giving the Braves' running back no space to break free along the right sideline. Eldorado's best defensive efforts pay off in a thrilling 45-42 comeback win after trailing 26-7 in the second quarter. The Eagles are 1-0 to begin district play.
