HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — For the second year in a row, the Arkansas Razorbacks kicked off their preseason schedule with a red and white scrimmage at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs on Sunday.

The event gave Razorback fans a first look at the team under head coach John Calipari, and a chance to meet the players up close.

It began with a meet-and-greet, followed by two 20-minute scrimmages. Fans say the atmosphere was electric while cheering on Hogs.

“Very athletic. Very athletic. Getting the ball up and down the court. Greenwood is a great pick-up for Arkansas,” said Razorback fan Trever Hamilton.

Hamilton said he made sure to grab his tickets as soon as they were available online, hoping to make the scrimmage a tradition.

“Anything to do with the Razorbacks — I’m all in,” Hamilton said.
