(Seguin) — TLU has again earned some national recognition.

Every year, U.S. News & World Report publishes a list of colleges and universities across the nation that have shown themselves to be exemplary over the past year.

And now for the eleventh year in a row, Texas Lutheran University is among those singled out for the list.

Tracy Donley, TLU’s Director of Communications & Content says for the 2026 rankings, the university came in eighth place overall in the West—up from ninth place last year. TLU also came in fourth in the region for Best Value, up from fifth; and third in the Best Colleges for Veterans category, up from eighth.

TLU is identified, for the purposes of these rankings, as a Regional College, defined as an institution focusing primarily on undergraduate education.
