A second country has re-introduced a pandemic-like initiative after a “previously healthy” girl died. Days after parts of Japan closed all schools to stop the spread of a “flu-like” virus, doctors in Hong Kong are now demanding parents vaccinate their children after the spread of Influenza B was detected.
According to Chinese officials, chaos was sparked by the death of the 13-year-old girl who developed a “fever, cough, sore throat and running nose” on October 5 – and just days later, on October 9, she died.
