It will be like Mardi Gras for ghouls, ghosts and monsters, as the annual Krewe of BOO! parade creeps through the French Quarter on Oct. 25. This year’s annual Halloween procession will include 14 horrifying floats, with costumed riders tossing beads, toys, candy and snacks.

For New Orleans kids, the Krewe of BOO! parade is a miracle of efficiency. They just stand on the curb and the trick-or-treating comes to them.

For fans of New Orleans’ marvelous Mardi Gras dance troupes and marching clubs, The Krewe of BOO! parade is a feast.
